LSU Writeup

Sorry about being in a funk about not posting.  Once the writeups are done I’ll have time to post on other stuff.  Of course, then football’s over.  Oh well, I’ll cross that bridge when I get there.

For the folks making the trip, beware LSU fans in body paint.  They smell of body paint, bourbon and very likely (I’m told) corn dogs…

    Great write-up as usual. But, i have to comment on your Bryan Evans thoughts.

    I posted this earlier in the week somewhere else. Both Vandy TDs, the blown coverage against UT (What, did Evans actually think that Stevens was going to tuck it and run!?), the fade to Julio Jones, the deep ball to Mo Brown and that is just this year – and only the ones i can remember.

    Has Evans had decent coverage on most of those plays? Sure. But the fact remains that opposing coaches have noticed over the last 3 years that Evans lacks the ball skills to play CB in the SEC.

    Bottomline, it is time to give someone else a chance.
